Hi, and welcome to my website. My name is Janice Flannigan, and the reason for this blog is to share my divorce experience. My ex-husband and I started out thinking we could divorce without attorneys. We thought things would be cut and dry. All we had to do was figure out our assets and split them down the middle. We don’t have children, so there would be no custody or child support issues. We both work full-time, so there would be no alimony concerns. The process should've be simple, right? On paper it sounded easy, but what the paper doesn’t tell you is that emotions are going to come into play. It’s a divorce after all. How can the parties not become emotional?
